About Me
Hi! I'm Sanchit, a Technical Support Engineer at PromptQL — an AI-native platform that brings natural language querying to your data through GraphQL. I work at the intersection of infrastructure and developer experience, helping teams get the most out of PromptQL's AI and GraphQL capabilities.
I hold certifications in AWS and VMware, and have a strong interest in building secure, optimized systems. Whether it's deploying scalable cloud-native solutions, debugging complex technical issues, or exploring automation workflows, I enjoy staying hands-on with technology.
Outside work, I'm actively building my personal website, experimenting with tools like Cloudflare, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes and custom SMTP routing to build secure and privacy-focused systems.

I Built a Dynamic Island–style Claude Usage Meter for My Mac Menu Bar — Here's the Messy Middle
The dead ends, the wrong abstraction I committed to for too long, and the three macOS gotchas that nearly shipped a broken build.

How I Built a Fully Private Portfolio Using GitHub and Cloudflare — For Free
A complete guide to deploying a portfolio site from a private GitHub repo using Cloudflare Pages, DNS, HTTPS, redirects, and DNSSEC — with zero cost and maximum security.
Projects
Tulip — Prompt-to-image playground
A text-to-image playground that fronts a Cloudflare Worker queue and a self-hosted Stable Diffusion agent on a home GPU. Features a live agent-presence pill, client + server rate limits, soft 400-char prompt cap, model toggle (Fast/Quality), and a session gallery cached in localStorage. Dark/light themes set flash-free before first paint.
Claude Meter — Usage pill for your Mac menu bar
A native macOS menu-bar app that shows Claude session and weekly usage as a Dynamic Island–style pill, with live reset countdowns and colors that shift as limits approach. Claude has no public usage API, so it reads the same endpoint claude.ai itself uses — from inside a hidden WKWebView, since the endpoint sits behind Cloudflare. Fully local: the session cookie never leaves the app. Swift/SwiftUI, open source (MIT), with a product site on its own subdomain.
Knowledge Base
A multi-topic knowledge base on its own subdomain — pure HTML/CSS/vanilla JS with JSON content and zero build step. First topic: VMware & Networking, 49 concepts across 8 phases with three modes (Learn, Operate's interactive troubleshooting trees, and Refer cheat-sheets), deep links, search, and per-topic progress tracking. New topics plug in with a content folder and one registry line.
sanchitkd.com — Personal Portfolio
A fully private, zero-cost portfolio built with pure HTML, CSS and vanilla JS. Deployed via Cloudflare Pages from a private GitHub repo, with three Cloudflare Workers powering a contact form (Brevo API), a real-time global visit counter (Durable Objects + SSE), and a secure proxy. DNSSEC enabled, custom domain, no frameworks.
